Addressed. Architectures and Letters
Buchvorstellung in Berlin
ADDRESSED – Architectures and Letters explores an architecture that operates precisely at this threshold: between what is and what could be. Perhaps this is one of the most compelling challenges facing architecture today—not simply to describe the world we live in, but to participate in shaping the worlds that may become possible.
Edited by Monica Ponce de Leon, this monograph features a series of insightful and playful essays by Kimberly Bradley, Galo Canizares, Carson Chan, Whitney Mallett, Whitney Moon, and Fabian Schöneich. Designed by Luis Vassallo, the book brings the work and its accompanying texts into a lively and carefully composed dialogue. A continuous cover print wraps around the entire volume, blurring the boundary between book and object and giving the publication a presence of its own. (Text: J. Mayer H.)
